HaveNotWantNot
Can we please make this happen?
It’s still sinking in that Nick is finally home. I literally just opened up notepad to write him a weekend update email and realized I don’t need to do that anymore.
Habits are funny things, aren’t they? And I’m SUCH a creature of habit.
I’m going to go for a jog after work as usual and then Nick is going to tag along to Zumba to see what has done such a fabulous job at helping me reach my goal.
Happy Jen is happy.
I’ll take a set. Or two.
MORTO BENE
Accurate.
Science, yo.
1 ~ My sailor is finally home from deployment. I failed as a fiancée because I didn’t spot him coming off the boat and he wins as a brat because he came up behind me and scared the crap out of me. Regardless, all is right in the world once again.
2 ~ I was supposed to go hiking but my hiking buddy is AWOL. I could go by myself but it’s been really rainy so I know the trail by my house will be a muddy mess. So I’m just going to enjoy the morning and soak up the happiness.
3 ~ I’m not making today my rest day. I’ll jog and do my TRX & plank challenge this afternoon and then hopefully get some dancing in tonight. I’m terrified of putting weight back on. I can’t ever let myself go like that again.
4 ~ Nick worked out while on deployment and oh. my. gravy. he is looking sexy as ever. His pants don’t fit, though. We have to go shopping so he has clothes that don’t make him look like a thug.
5 ~ Blades of Glory was just starting when we went to bed last night. When I turned on the TV this morning, the same movie was on in almost the same spot. Don’t you love it when that happens?
6 ~ It’s a good day, month, year…It’s a good life. I’ll take it.
